Carbon fiber

Carbon fibres are industrially manufactured filaments made from raw materials containing carbon. Due to the chemical procedure of pyrolysis the atomic structure of carbon is being rearranged, similar to that of graphite.

SINOI Carbon fiber

The fibres used in carbon fibre reinforced plastics are characterised by a high strength and stiffness with light weight and a low elongation at break in axial direction at the same time.
Similar to the usage of glass fibres the rovings are used for the production of various types of fabrics in order to produce fibre-reinforced plastic material.
